Annual physical examinations are strongly recommended for your pets and are the best way to ensure your pets health as he or she ages. Our pets age much faster than we do, so its important to do exams at least once a year. An examination by the veterinarian can often catch the early signs of potentially serious diseases, which helps make treatment more effective. The veterinarian can also find problems you, the owner, may never have even known existed;such as ear infections, dental disease, and other problems. If your pet is acting abnormally, refusing to drink or eat, drinking excessively, vomiting, having diarrhea, or just acting lethargic and not quite themselves: he/she should be examined. these symptoms could be indications of potentially serious problems, so waiting to see if your pet will get better is not a good idea. It is always better to be safe than sorry as the saying goes, so don't let problems like these go overlooked. Sometimes waiting could even cost the life of your beloved pet.
